Grand Teton Photo Safari
Alpha Female Safari
This exceptional Safari combines the best of wildlife watching in two National Parks with river excursions on pristine rivers. We explore the natural and cultural diversity and history of some of the most extraordinary places including their animal and human inhabitants.

We experience an array of activities, landscapes, and species as we travel from lower river valleys to high mountains. The Gallatin Valley, Yellowstone River, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton are our landscape. We'll float, hike, ride horses and auto tour to follow in the footsteps of early explorers and Native Americans. Experience all the major wildlife, plant communities, and habitats of the Great Plains and Northern Rockies.

A sample itinerary might include: one day on a Missouri Headwaters River Trip on the path of Lewis and Clark. Two to three days in Yellowstone National Park (explore various areas of Yellowstone, with a full day devoted to geysers and hot springs) and two days in Grand Teton National Park.

Wildlife features: grizzly bear, black bear, gray wolf, bighorn sheep, American bison, Rocky Mountain elk, American pronghorn antelope, American bald eagle, golden eagle, coyote, red fox, moose, mule deer, white-tailed deer, beaver, river otter, numerous birds and small mammals.

Recommended Seasons: Spring, Summer and Fall.
